Today, we’re excited to release Morpho Lite (lite.morpho.org), a simple, open-source version of the Morpho App designed specifically for multichain deployments.

Morpho Lite is minimal by design, providing only the essential features users need to earn and borrow on Morpho. Unlike the main Morpho App (app.morpho.org), its simplicity makes it easy to deploy on any blockchain and complements the “Morpho Everywhere” strategy.

Morpho Lite focuses exclusively on the most essential functionality:

• Earn: Deposit and withdraw
• Borrow: Supply collateral, borrow assets, and repay
• Rewards: View rewards in the app and claim them via Merkl

Morpho Lite complements existing front-ends that provide access to Morpho, such as Compound Blue on Polygon POS, Oku on Corn, and Moonwell on OP Mainnet. It serves as a lightweight alternative rather than a standalone solution.

While the main Morpho App offers advanced features like bundlers and simulations, Morpho Lite is deliberately designed for basic earn and borrow actions only. This focused approach allows faster deployments across multiple chains, less maintenance, and a simplified user experience for core use cases.

Morpho Lite is engineered to work solely with public RPCs without relying on additional infrastructure like APIs. By design, it doesn’t incorporate historical data or decode on-chain data, maintaining its lightweight nature.

Morpho Lite represents a commitment to releasing more open-source tools to expand the capabilities of the Morpho ecosystem.

As an open-source React web application, anyone can use the code to deploy:

• White-labeled versions or “Powered by Morpho” implementations under their own brand
• Customized instances with configurable RPC settings, listing policies, and chain support
