Paris or remote (Europe only, from GMT to GMT+2 to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).
The mission of this role is to bring the standards of high-performing organizations to how Morpho develops, supports, and retains its team, by owning people operations hands-on and becoming the trusted go-to for every manager and contributor navigating people questions.
Support managers in developing their people, running effective monthly one-on-ones, and navigating tough performance conversations with clarity and confidence.
Own and continuously improve the onboarding experience so every new hire ramps fast, understands the culture, and feels set up to contribute from day one.
Help contributors grow and develop in a way that genuinely fits Morpho: adapt what growth support looks like here rather than importing off-the-shelf frameworks from elsewhere.
Work with Finance to define and maintain compensation bands that keep Morpho competitive and equitable across geographies.
Own benefits, health insurance, and HR tooling decisions and implementation across all locations.
Work closely with the recruiting team to raise the bar on talent acquisition and deepen their capabilities.
Shape headcount planning in coordination with leadership and hiring managers.
Met with all managers and key contributors. Mapped the current state of people processes (performance reviews, onboarding, career growth, tooling). Identified the top priorities to address.
Known as the go-to people person. Made meaningful progress supporting contributors in their growth in a way that fits Morpho's culture. Managers feel better equipped to run their monthlies and develop their people. Onboarding experience measurably improved. Compensation bands drafted.
Compensation bands established and maintained. Contributors have clarity on how they can grow at Morpho and feel genuinely supported in their development. HR tooling and benefits run smoothly across geographies. Trusted partner to managers, has meaningfully raised the people bar, and positioned to grow scope as Morpho scales.
5+ years in a hands-on People Partner, HRBP, or People Operations role at a company with genuinely high talent density.
Has worked at an organization known for exceptional talent standards: crypto-native (Uniswap, Coinbase, Optimism), high-growth fintech (Stripe, Revolut), or similar. The exposure to exceptional standards, not the name brand, is what matters.
Solid background in people operations: performance management, compensation, onboarding, and supporting people in their growth and development.
Execution-oriented: builds and runs processes, does not only advise.
Experience helping managers navigate difficult performance and development conversations.
Up to date with technology and AI tools in the HR space. Morpho is a tech-forward team and this person should accelerate, not slow down, that pace.
Adaptable in a fast-changing context with shifting priorities and real ambiguity.
Clear and crisp async communication across a distributed team.
Ownership and autonomy: sets priorities independently and moves without needing to be pushed.
Humble.
