Fintechs and neobanks can use Morpho to build embedded earn products, crypto-backed lending, and other lending or borrowing experiences. They can choose which assets and markets to support, design the user experience, and work with independent curators to define vault strategies and risk parameters. Depending on the product, they may also add access controls such as allowlists or jurisdiction restrictions.

Morpho Blue is for open term, variable rate lending products. Morpho Midnight is for fixed rate, fixed term lending products.

Morpho Midnight complements Morpho Blue, so you can add fixed rate, fixed maturity borrowing alongside an existing variable rate experience. Midnight is a separate protocol and requires its own integration, but it can connect with Blue liquidity through supporting infrastructure. This lets you expand your product without replacing your current Morpho Blue integration.

Clients can support compliance policies through controls at the appropriate product layer. Vaults V2 supports optional gates for deposits, withdrawals, and receipt token transfers, including KYC or address allowlists. Morpho Midnight supports gates at the fixed rate market level, which can restrict who may lend, borrow, or liquidate. Morpho Blue variable rate markets do not natively support gates, so restricted access requires permissioned assets or controls in a vault or interface built around the market. These tools can support a compliance program, but they do not make a product legally compliant by themselves.
