Morpho is permissionless so anyone can build on its open, efficient, and resilient infrastructure.

Developers can use Morpho as onchain credit infrastructure to build variable rate lending products with Morpho Blue and fixed rate, fixed maturity products with Morpho Midnight. This includes custom lending markets, compliance-gated credit products, vault strategies, liquidation and risk-management systems, and AI-powered applications such as autonomous treasury allocation, market monitoring, and lending or borrowing agents. Morpho provides the noncustodial settlement and risk infrastructure, while developers control the product experience, automation, and AI tools.

Morpho Blue is the variable rate primitive: open term, algorithmically priced, single collateral per market. Morpho Midnight is the fixed rate primitive; a marketplace for fixed rate loans. Both are immutable and permissionless to deploy on.

Developers deploy enter gates and liquidator gates as smart contracts attached to an obligation at creation. Any logic that returns a boolean is valid: KYC whitelists, risk scores, time-based rules, geographic restrictions. Gates are immutable once set and produce unique market IDs, so compliant and open markets coexist without affecting each other.

Yes. Morpho Agents gives MCP-compatible AI agents access to live Morpho data, allowing them to inspect vaults, markets, balances, supported chains, and user positions, or prepare unsigned transactions for lending, borrowing, repayments, withdrawals, collateral, and rewards. Users must review, sign, and submit every transaction themselves.
